odd couple

This is an oldie from the sketchbook based on a very weird dream. I guess there are some parallels if you think about it.

George Washington

after Gilbert Stuart

I know it's completely random, but for a while there I found it almost therapeutic to paint Gilbert Stuart - George Washington copies in between jobs. This was my most successful effort, though he seems more angry with things than stoic. I'll hopefully get a chance to try again soon.

p.s. I'm a longtime fan of George so there will definitely be more postings in the future. : )
